"Worthy are you … for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God" (5:9-10). The entire created universe (4:11) constantly rejoices in God’s holiness and goodness. And specifically, the angels, and heavenly creatures worship the Lamb because, by His sacrifice, He recovered what was lost: our original destiny as priestly members of God’s kingdom.
“Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered” (5:5). The conquering Lion is also the Lamb, whose won victory for us through His own death on the cross.
