“The LORD was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master” (39:2). Joseph’s story is bursting with the amazing power of God to work even in the worst circumstances. Rather than reversing the wicked schemes of Joseph’s brothers, God blessed Joseph in captivity in Egypt. When Pharaoh’s wife falsely accused him, God didn’t prevent him from going to prison; instead, he blessed Joseph while in prison (39:21).
We would prefer to be taken out of hard situations, but God has a bigger plan in mind. He can open our eyes to see His favor and steadfast love even before He sets us free (v21). #NCManna
