NC StudentS

NC Students, the student ministry (6th - 12th grade) of Northland Cathedral is a community of young people coming together to make a difference in their world. We desire to see students experience the transforming love of God, belong to a life-giving community of friends and caring adult leaders, and discover God's purpose for their lives. We summarize this journey in three steps: Encountering God, Engaging in Community, and Empowering to Serve.

Encountering god

“Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart,
for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts.”
Jeremiah 15:16

Sunday Morning at 9:15

We meet in the lower level - come in through Door 3 by Parking Lot B or Parking Lot C

what to expect

Our NC Student ministry Wednesday Services and Sunday School CE Classes led by Pastor Garet Arnold and other committed leaders, seeks to help our students grow closer to Christ.  That's it. Pretty cool, right? Oh, we play games, have awesome spirit-led worship, hear powerful messages based on God's word, and spend time with friends.

Engaging in Community

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near."

Hebrews 10:24-25

Empowering to Serve

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Mark 10:45

Stuff we do...

Here's some of the stuff our NC Student ministry does through the year...

Fine Arts competition

Can you sing, or act, or play an instrument? Are you in debate at school? Can you paint, take really cool photos, or do you have another hidden talent? Our District Fine Arts competition is a tool to help you discover, develop, and deploy your God-Given gifts. Our NC Students are some of the most talented people we know - let's show our world the amazing things God can do through us with our gifts!  The Festival runs through the Spring and Summer for Nationals!

Yearly missions trip/outreach

Every year our NC Students do something to help the communities around us, ranging from out-of-state mission trips all the way down to local area community cleanups.

Youth Camp

Things might get a little crazy... at Youth Camp!  Camp is all about inspiring students to develop a relationship with God through worship, prayer and discipleship. Watch for information at the end of spring/start of summer!
