"Our 21 Days of Prayer begins this Sunday, May 15, and will lead up to the Day of Pentecost. This is a great time that we, as a church, can partner together to intentionally seek God for ourselves, our church body, our community, and our world. Please consider joining me in prayer and watch God move and do mighty things." Lead Pastor Kevin Smith
This information is included in our prayer guide, but we thought it would be helpful to include it here on our blog post as the starting point for our 21 Days of Prayer.
What to Pray For:
Week 1:
Pray continually for the church, our pastors, staff, and congregation that we might walk in the perseverance and boldness to share the gospel message fearlessly. Eph. 6:18-20
Week 2:
Pray for Kansas City and our local community that God would move in a way that all would find peace and renewal by the Holy Spirit. Isaiah 40:31
Week 3:
Pray for God’s empowerment in each of us by the Holy Spirit as we seek the Lord. Acts 1:8
How to Join us in Prayer for 21 Days of Prayer:
Worship
There is power when we worship our Creator. Find a worship song to sing, or listen to as you allow God’s spirit to work in you.
Devotion
Start by spending time in God’s word. Find a study plan, study the words of Jesus or follow our NC Daily Devotional. Once you have chosen your study, invite a friend to participate with you during these 21 days of prayer.
Pray
Spend time thanking God for who He is, telling God how you feel, and asking God for guidance.
