“Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” (1). The psalmist declared that God’s glory is demonstrated in the heavens (1), through the spectacular display of “moon and stars” (3) and the works of his fingers. Yet more surprising, God exercises his power and authority through the humble: “through the praise of children and infants” (2). Our awesome Creator chooses to crown fragile humanity “with glory and honor” (5) so that we can rule in his name, as his image-bearers.

“Lord our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!” (9). Our small, quiet efforts to serve the Lord join the sun, moon, and stars in displaying his glory.
